About CTE Assessments

There are two types of CTE Assessments; the Employability Skills for Career Readiness Assessment which measures the “soft skills” needed to be successful in all careers. The second is the End-of-Program Technical Assessment which is program specific and measures the skill attainment of a student who has completed a program course sequence. These assessments are aligned to the state standards and are required by the Nevada Administrative Code (NAC 389.800 section 1).
