About CTE Accountability

Accountability puts together required reports and other information as requested; Keeps track of secondary and postsecondary enrollment, performance, and CTE program information; Works closely with other NDE accountability groups.

    Performance Indicators

    Performance indicators are a reference document to help schools with data driven decision making.  Performance indicators are required under the Perkins IV law and with a negotiated level of performance that is agreed upon by the state and the U.S. Department of Education Office of Vocational and Adult Education (OVAE). These performance indicators cover multiple areas including skill attainment, course completion, nontraditional employment training, graduation rates, etc.


    The Fact Card is an annual report providing information about the health of our programs at both the Secondary and Postsecondary level. Other reports may be published providing a more in depth view of CTE in specific areas as well as the broader view. Other discussions or important information may be published here from time to time as they are developed. (Due to the change to cohort accountability within our system, we have not published as yet the 2010-2011 Fact Card).
